It’s that time of year again! Join the “kidpreneurs” of Carrollton Early Childhood PTA for the fourth annual Kidsgiving Day on Saturday, September 9th at 9:00am in the Castle Hills Village Shops.
Kidsgiving Day occurs ahead of CFT’s North Texas Giving Day (September 21st), an event to raise awareness and funds for local nonprofits.
In 2022, 52 “kidpreneurs” under the age of 6 (and their adult assistants) set up a 20-booth market, raising $4,623 on the day of Kidsgiving, and a whopping total of $7,985 by North Texas Giving Day.
This year’s “kidpreneurs” are full of big ideas as well. The 2023 booth lineup includes snack offerings for our human customers, and homemade treats for customers of the canine variety as well! There will also be kids selling sensory kits, plushies, surprise books, and much, much more!
A truck from the Carrollton Fire Department will be joining in on the fun from 10-11am, alongside booths for face painting, temporary tattoos, and even a bounce house!
Proceeds from this event will go toward Carrollton Early Childhood PTA’s programming, helping us continue to educate and build a community for kids ages 0-5 and their guardians. Carrollton’s littlest entrepreneurs are looking forward to meeting you – we’ll see you there!
