Alternative Valentine’s Day Greetings for that Special Someone in your Life
Anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for a thoughtful, witty, heartfelt, well-written card. And if there’s one holiday where cards are the STAR, it’s Valentine’s Day! At the heart of this pink and red holiday is the Valentine: a card, message, or greeting sent or given especially to a sweetheart on Valentine’s Day.
Unfortunately, not all of us are the best with words when it comes to dumping our feelings into a Valentine card. So to help you out this Valentine’s Day, I’ve compiled a few fun and obscure Valentine’s sentiments that will help the loved ones in your life understand how you truly feel. At the very least, I hope some of these can help crack a smile and we’ll allow the box of chocolates to do the heavy lifting!
Instead of selecting the same old boring card this Valentine’s Day, try out one of these alternative greetings! There’s one to match every love in your life!
For the person in your life who thrives on motivation…
For the partner who always provides the HEAT in the relationship…
For your partner who trusts anything with a solid internet review and a good rating…
For the husband who has a talent for passing gas…
This one could also be from Mommy to baby. Simply substitute “Beer and Farts” with “Spit-up and Dirty Diapers.”
For the environmentalist…
For the extreme sports lover who considers February Superbowl month rather than Valentine’s Day month…
From the Foodie in your life who is trying to give you a subtle hint…
From your child who only gifted you a finger-painted piece of “artwork”…
For the couple who loves to “Netflix and Chill” together…
For the couple who loves their devices almost as much as each other…
When all else fails…
Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Valentine’s Day filled with love, laughter, and happily ever after!
