What are some of the projects that have won in the past?
Our most recent winner was Christ 4 Kids in Farmers Branch, and they are utilizing grant funding to open a new classroom to meet the increasing demand from their community. The Ridge and Parker-Chase Preschools both won funding in previous years with their outdoor teaching/learning projects. With CECPTA Grant funding, these schools were able to purchase materials and build infrastructure to offer their students fun educational opportunities such as gardening and painting. They were also able to provide water walls and other hands-on learning stations.
